Welcome to The Black Magic Pen Company! We are a family owned business specializing in custom Magic Wand Fountain Pens, Pilot Parallel nib pens, Calligraphy Dip Pens, and Kakimori Holders. We are also Resin Casting Wizards and make our own in-house materials, including our signature Galactic Spiral blanks, segmented Arcane Spirals, and Cyberpunk Gradient glow in the dark materials. All of our magic wand pens and stunning hypnotic resins are made by hand with love, artistry, and a touch of magic. Custom pen and resin orders are available. Major Shop Upgrade!
We now have a Precision Matthews Metal Lathe!
In July 2026 we were finally able to acquire a Precision Matthews 1030V Metal Lathe to help us scale up our pen production, with the added benefit of improving the quality of our machine work on our bespoke pens. It took us a couple additional months to get all the tooling and dial in the new machine, and we are fortunately up and running again and working to catch up on our commissions and start building up pen inventory for the website and future pen shows. We have been posting some videos of the new machine in action on Instagram and YouTube. Check it out!Â
A new Apprentice has joined the Black Magic Pens Family
In July we welcomed a new mage in training to our family, baby Felix, and took a little bit of time off from production to care for our baby wizard. Now that we are getting into a routine, we are working to catch up on commissions and casting new materials for Fall and the Spooky season! Thank you for your patience as we catch up on orders! We promise not to ghost you and give every pen the care and attention to detail it deserves! Our current wait time for custom pen orders is 2-3 months, but we are hoping to increase our turnaround times now that we have upgraded our workshop and are settling into a new routine.
