These blanks are segmented and very easy to blow out. They must be turned with sharp tools and very light passes, working from the center of the blank out towards the edges. If your tool catches the end of the spiral the force will shear the spiral and infill resin apart and it will break. Extreme caution must be taken when turning these blanks, especially when working near the edge of the spiral. All efforts are made to minimize bubbles, however some bubbles may occur on the surface between the spiral and mold wall when casting the infill, which can be turned off carefully.
These blanks are sold as is and purchaser accepts full responsibility if they are broken while turning.
